Because of that, he'll very carefully set her back down on the floor now that he's hugged and cried all over her. He still looks more than a little shell shocked and would probably benefit from blasting himself with a hot shower to clean himself of work, crying, and inevitable stress related residue still clinging to him. Now that he thinks about it, he can't imagine he's very pleasant for Haru to be so near when she's feeling like she does...he'd understandably been distracted the instant he got home.
He puts the still-unopened green tea back on the table, intending for Haru to have it in his stead since he figures she'd benefit from it more than he would right now.
